Women’s Ministry is a great way for women, of every age and with varied backgrounds, to make new friends and learn about God through Women’s Bible Studies (including MOM’s Group) and special events.

Women's Ministry

Women’s Bible Studies

Women's Ministry on FacebookOffered every Monday (and sometimes on other weekdays), Women’s Bible Studies offers a variety of studies to choose from. MOM’s Group (designed for moms with children under the age of pre-kindergarten) is offered on Monday mornings only and has a separate study each semester. Each mom will be part of a small group led by a mentor.
Childcare is provided on Monday mornings only for children (ages five months through pre-kindergarten) by preregistration only. If you have a baby under the age of five months, we ask you keep your infant with you during class. Childcare space is limited, so registering for childcare does not secure your spot until confirmed by the Nursery staff by phone or email.
A delicious lunch is offered in the Atrium on Mondays only from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Morning Bible Study and MOM’s Group

September 8th – November 24th

9:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Registration for this semester – for both classes and childcare – has begun. You must preregister for childcare. If the study you choose requires a book, you may purchase that book on the first day of class.

Childcare registration is required, but registration does not confirm that you have childcare. Priority is given to the women who attended and had childcare last semester. Space is limited and we will confirm your childcare placement under a separate e-mail.

We are sorry but childcare has reached capacity for this semester, and online registration is closed. Mom’s Groups for this semester are full, but you may still attend either the morning or afternoon “Children of the Day” study (no pre-registration necessary).

The following studies are offered this semester:

Children of the Day

Children of the DayThis nine-week study of Beth Moore’s Children of the Day is a verse-by-verse bible study of 1 and 2 Thessalonians.

Learn how to let go of past mistakes and discover your circumstances are not coincidental – God’s timing is impeccable!

Workbooks are available for purchase the first day of class for $16.00.

(Video followed by small group participation.)

Apprentice – Book 3

Apprentice 3Led by Jennifer Jenson and Leah Speno, this 12-week study that meets from 9:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. is designed for those who need to complete the Apprentice Series.

Participants will not participate in worship time in the Atrium.

Book 3 is available for purchase in the Bookstore.

MOM’s Group

What's it like to be married to me?

MOM’s group is for women who have children from 5 months to PreK. Infants under the age of 5 months stay with their mothers during the class.

Childcare and Mom’s Groups are at capacity, and we regret that we can no longer take registrations for either childcare or participation in this semester’s Mom’s Groups.

This 12-week study will be led by Denise Guttenberger each week.

It is a guide to changing yourself as you fall in love with your husband – again.

This is a book about how to live out marriage day-to-day and year-by-year.

Books are available for purchase the first day of class for $12.00.

Volunteer Needs

Want to get involved in Women’s Ministry through volunteering? Here are our current needs:

  • For women who are attending the Bible study, we would love to have you help us with greeting on Monday morning.
  • Monday morning, before Bible study, we could use 2 volunteers to help us make sure our rooms are ready, door signs are up, and other similar tasks. This opportunity would be around 8:30 a.m. and would apply to ladies who are attending the Bible study at 9:15 a.m.
  • We need Monday morning nursery volunteers to rock babies while their mommies go to Bible study. *Nursery volunteers will need to complete additional screening forms prior to working in the Nursery.

If you are interested in one of these opportunities, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form here and you will be contacted shortly!
