Mission Trips

Short-term trips offer opportunities to surrender your agenda and your time . . . and the chance to experience life.

In John, Christ says “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) But what does that mean? Can people living in poverty experience abundance? And then conversely thinking–if my bank account is full, then why do I feel so empty? Christ living in us gives us the opportunity to live an abundant life and understand the secret of Christ’s words, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25)

• Trip Dates: June 9-16
• Location: Roatan, Honduras
• Projects: Assist in English language classes, VBS for local children, ministering to at-risk teenage girls
• Cost: $1400/person
• Group size: 10 (each trip)
• Trip overview: This short-term opportunity will be working with missionary Deborah Hunnicutt as she ministers to the children of Roatan through VBS, English language classes and other relational outreach.

• Trip Dates: July 7 – 14
• Location: Pena Blanca, Honduras
• Projects: Medical clinics, construction, children’s activities, orphan care
• Cost: $1800/person
• Group size: 40
• Information meeting: December 4 at 12:15 p.m.
• Trip overview: Families (children ages 10 and older) are encouraged to join us for this global missions experience. We will have a wide range of projects that will allow everyone the opportunity to minister to the needs of those who live in abject poverty. What better way for families to grow together in their commitment to serving Christ than by reaching out and meeting the needs of those whom Christ called: the least of these my brothers.

• Trip Dates: September 29 – October 13
• Location: Kisumu, Kenya
• Projects: Water well drilling and pastor training
• Cost: $3000/person
• Group size: 12
• Trip overview: Our Crossings team will be supporting the work and ministry of the Water4 Foundation. We will be drilling new water wells in the rural areas of Kenya, training new Kenyan well drilling teams and assisting in the training of pastors. The pastors that will be trained are leaders in the new churches that have been planted in villages where Water4 wells have been placed.

Roatan Mission Trip (Women)

• Trip Dates: September 29 – October 6
• Location: Roatan, Honduras
• Projects: Assist in English language classes, Women’s ministry, Bible studies, ministering to at-risk teenage women
• Cost: $1500/person
• Group size: 10 (each trip)
• Focus: VBS, Teens pulled from Trafficking
• Trip overview: This short-term opportunity will be working with missionary Deborah Hunnicutt as she ministers to the women of Roatan, many of whom have escaped from human trafficking. By providing them with vocational training, one-on-one mentoring and spiritual discipleship we hope to help them move beyond their previous lives of fear and bondage to experience all that God created them to be.

India Mission Trip

• Trip Dates: October 27 – November 10
• Location: Northeast India
• Projects: Medical clinics, children’s activities, spiritual development of local believers
• Cost: $3000/person
• Group size: 14
• Focus: Medical Clinics, Childrens Outreach
• Trip overview: The team will travel to several communities in northeast India working with our Crossings supported churches to hold medical clinics, work with children and to provide spiritual development opportunities to the women of these churches and the local pastors.

Before being selected to be a part of a Crossings Missions team you must fill out the Missions Trip Application. If you have participated on a Crossings Missions Trip in the past three (3) years, fill out the Missions Trip Renewal Application. Select the form with best fits you.

The information contained in the application is treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect. No one has access to these forms without proper authorization. Complete all information and submit the completed form to the Missions office.
