Let us love your baby!

Let us love your baby!

We are here to love and care for your child as you attend Sunday School, worship services, Wednesday night classes, Monday morning Bible study, etc. First time leaving your child? Give us a try! You get a pager from the Nursery in the event we need to reach you, so you can be back at your child’s room in a flash! For more information about Nursery Ministries or to tour the facility, call Reagan at ext. 242.

Sunday School

"Train up a child in the way he should go and in the end he will not turn from it."—Proverbs 22:6

Shaping little hearts, memorizing Scripture, and singing Bible songs begins early at Crossings. Our nurseries open at 8:15 on Sunday morning offering continuous childcare through the 11 a.m. service. Two-and three-year-olds participate in Sunday School classes at 9:30. Dedicated teachers share the love of God through Bible stories, artwork, music, and songs with messages for a child’s heart. All nursery babies enjoy age-appropriate music, stories and finger play. For building map with Nursery registration desk location, click here.

Wednesday evening classes

Childcare is available from 6:15 – 7:45 p.m. during Christian Enrichment Series classes. For building map with Nursery registration desk location, click here.

Moments of Motherhood

MOM's Groups—A place for moms to slow down and connect with one another

Titus 2 study series continues in September—Join us on Monday mornings this fall as we complete the third and final study in a series by Linda Anderson. Inside Out Parenting: A Mom’s Mission examines what God’s Word says about our mission as moms and what that looks likes today. As moms explore God’s Word, they gain godly confidence in a confused world, create a Christian community that thrives despite a chaotic culture, and build Christ-like character in their children.

Mom to Mom is a biblically-based parenting program designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationship with their husbands and children. Through small group interaction led by Titus 2 women, growth occurs not only in parenting skills, but also in wholeness as women—intellectually, relationally, and spiritually.

Bring your Bible! Cost is $20. Childcare is available for children newborn through kindergarten. Pre-registration for childcare is requiredregister online. PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited; register early to secure your spot.

Prayerfully consider joining us on Mondays with a new commitment to becoming the mom you’ve always wanted to be and that God desires you to be. Contact Darla Hamilton for further information at ext 238.

Parent/Child Dedication

Parent/child dedication at Crossings is a commitment for parents—a recognition of the solemn responsibility to raise children in a Christian home and a church where they may come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Parents interested in dedicating their children are asked to attend a one-hour class led by Pastors David Gibson and Darla Hamilton. The next two classes are June 22 and September 28 at 9:30 a.m. To register for either class, contact Reagan at ext. 242.

NOTE: Child dedication at Crossings is not infant baptism. We do not offer baptism prior to a person’s choosing to believe in Christ. Click here for answers to more questions about Parent/Child dedication.

Nursery Volunteers

Join the growing ranks of Crossings members who share in the joy of giving six hours a year to our smallest members. Nursery volunteers rock, cuddle, read to, and play with our babies & toddlers. What other volunteer opportunity leaves you with a “warm fuzzy” feeling? Remember, no diaper changing required! For the safety of all our children, everyone working or volunteering with children at Crossings must complete a screening process.

Nursery Volunteer Qualifications:

    Partnering with Parents

Crossings Children’s Ministries considers it a privilege to partner with parents to teach God’s Truth. To help your children grow spiritually, build upon what we begin in classes on Sunday and Wednesday. Review and discuss take-home papers and art projects. Continue your child’s learning process by discussing Bible stories and applying it to your family’s life at home.
