We are always looking for more volunteers to help coach Youth Athletic Leagues. If you are interested in coaching, please contact Hattie at ext. 263.

Activity Descriptions:

NEW! Flag Football (1st—4th grade) Fall 2008

Brand new to our youth athletics program is the Youth Flag Football League. The league is divided into two divisions: a 1st/2nd grade division and a 3rd/4th grade division. Practice is only one night per week with a six-week season played on Saturdays beginning September 13.

This recreational, NON-CONTACT league is designed to teach the fundamentals of football in a safe and encouraging environment. Just like our other Crossings youth leagues, we want every child who participates to feel like an MVP.

    Important Dates:
    • Saturday, September 6—Meet the Coach Day
    • Saturdays, September 13-October 18—League Season

Coed Youth Soccer (4 years—4th grade) Fall 2008

Even though summer is just beginning, it is not too early to think about the fall season of youth soccer. Crossings Youth Soccer League is a recreational soccer league that focuses on the skill development of every participant. One of the goals of the coed league is for every child to have a positive experience while learning the game of soccer.
    Important Dates
    • Saturday, September 6—Meet the Coach Day
      Pre-K, 9 a.m. / K, 9:30 a.m. / Grades 1-4, 10 a.m.
    • Saturdays, September 13-October 18—League Season

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED—Many adults are needed to help coach in the Crossings Youth Soccer League. If you are interested, contact Hattie at ext. 263.

Sporting Clay

Meets at 9:00 a.m. at Silverleaf Shotgun in Guthrie (8513 S. Douglas Blvd.)

Open to men, women, boys and girls ages 10 and up. Note: Registration fee ($90 per person) does not include shells or eye protection.
