Our son attended Straight Talk during his 5th and 6th grade years, and the ministry has been an invaluable resource for us going forward. Primarily, we lean upon it as a conversation starter. We are blessed to be a part of a church who partners with parents to stand up and speak the truth to our young men and women most likely facing some incredibly tough decisions soon in their lives, but also pulls in experts so there are no knowledge gaps or distortions in what we convey to our children.
Every year, several parents from the community ask us to let them know when the next upcoming date is for Straight Talk and when registration opens. We are glad to share, knowing this program clearly fills a need for children and parents at Crossings and in our community.
