Anger Management for Men

Participants discover the sources and triggers of anger and learn productive ways to cope and respond to life challenges. 

Blended Family Support Group

An educational process addressing step family dynamics and issues while promoting a healthy and productive relationship for the couple and family.  

Depression and Bipolar Support Group

This informational class helps dispel myths, reduce fears, and support those dealing with depressive illnesses.  

DivorceCare I
Facilitators: Dub Rogers • room 227-229
DivorceCare I provides support and direction for those in the midst of separation or divorce. An experienced Christian counselor leads group discussions.  

DivorceCare II

DivorceCare II is a 13-week video/discussion group addressing issues associated with divorce and separation. Topics include depression, loneliness, financial survival, and forgiveness.  

DivorceCare III—Boundaries
• room 226
For those who have completed DivorceCare I & II, this video/discussion class helps participants establish biblically appropriate boundaries as applied to interpersonal relationships.   

NEW (begins September 13)Gifted Families

This group offers support, encouragement, and resources for families dealing with children with developmental delays and/or special needs. Meets the first Monday of every month unless otherwise noted.  

GriefShare I
Facilitators: Eldonna Merrit & Ray Ruth • room 230 
This 13-week video series offers valuable information combined with group discussion to support and encourage those dealing with grief.  

GriefShare II

For those who have completed GriefShare I, this group offers ongoing support and education for those dealing with grief. 

Making Peace with Your Past—A study of Forgiveness 
Mary Louise Binning • room 222 
All of us have suffered painful emotional and relational hurts. God calls us to forgive those who have hurt us, but that’s often easier said than done. This group explores why we forgive, how to engage the process of forgiveness, what forgiveness is and is not, and the role of reconciliation.
   

Military Families Support Group

Discover new friendships and find encouragement as you meet and pray together with other military families.   

Next Step for Men 
Jerry Bickle • room 225 
A group designed specifically for men who are serious about experiencing growth in their life and in their relationships. This group offers support and encouragement as you pursue the life God desires for you to live.


Stress Management for Women
Facilitators: Brooke Flickinger & Meredith Zahorsky • room 223 
Stress Management offers insight into the causes of stress, and presents healthy ways to cope with the emotions caused by stress.


Survivors of Suicide (SOS)
This group offers support to anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide. Through education and sharing, participants learn to cope with the mix of confusing emotions suicide can leave behind, experience encouragement from an understanding community, and find new hope for the future.
   

Wednesdays: Classes meet 6:30-7:45 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
Join us in the Atrium for dinner before class (4:45-6:15). Reservations appreciated.

DivorceCare
Facilitators: Belinda Holmes & Lance Rickets • room 224 
DivorceCare I provides support and direction for those in the midst of separation or divorce. An experienced Christian counselor leads group discussions.

Caregivers Support 
Meets 12 noon-1 p.m.

Caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s or Dementia find encouragement and support by sharing with others about similar issues, concerns and challenges.

Celebrate Recovery 
Meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

• Crossings Community Center (2208 W. Hefner Rd, OKC)   
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program led by trained individuals who help participants heal from the hurts, habits and hang-ups in their lives, using the eight biblical principles found in the Beatitudes (from Matthew 5) and the traditional 12 Steps. Childcare is available for children under four years; LifeTools for Kids is available for children four years through 6th grade.

Miscarriage and Infant Loss Support Group 
Meets from 6:30-8 p.m. on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays

This support group is designed to specifically address the needs of those who are grieving a miscarriage or loss of an infant. Through teaching and sharing, this group offers a safe place to explore the many emotions created by grief, gain practical ways to walk through the grief process, and receive support and encouragement from others who have experienced similar circumstances.
